• OakView School Reading Olympics Feb. 8- March 8, 2018

       Mrs. DiTrani has invited the students at Oak View to participate in the Reading Olympics. If we reach the school goal of reading 3,104 books, there will be a Schoolwide Field Day in April.

  • Columbus Day Essay Winners!
      Congratulations to 4th Graders Chloe Barrett and Kayla Laviola winners of the UNICO Columbus Day Essay. We are so proud of Chloe Barrett who won 2nd Place in all of the Bloomfield Public Schools. We are equally proud of Kayla Laviola who won an Honorable Mention. The young ladies were treated to a Pancake Breakfast after receiving their awards at the Bloomfield Civic Center. Please check out pictures from this event in the school photo album below.

     Just a reminder to sign up for the Parent Portal in Power School. This is a wonderful way to track your child's progress and communicate with the OakView School. You should receive an invitation to sign up from your child's Teacher at Back to School Night or during November Conferences. If you did not receive your sign-up information please contact Mrs D'Avanzo for any assistance you may need with PowerSchool.
